Om Chanting

About 35,000 years ago our ancestors began their research in earnest interest to know the exact nature of the universe, beyond their daily biological needs. First they observed the external world but ultimately they discovered the essence of all internal and external world. Om mantra is the essence of that discovery. Om is the mantra of love, freedom and compassion. Probably the most famous Om mantra of Buddhism is Om mani padme hum, the six syllable mantra of the Bodhisattva of compassion Avalokiteshvara. You can chant any of the following proven Om mantras:

each syllable corresponds to one of the six purification process:

1. Om purifies bliss and pride
2. Ma purifies jealousy and need for entertainment
3. Ni purifies passion and desire
4. Pad purifies ignorance and prejudice
5. Me purifies possessiveness
6. Hum purifies aggression and hatred

The Mother of all Buddhas. The essence of all wishdoms.
1. Om represents Tara's sacred body, speech, and mind
2. Tare means liberating from all external dangers
3. Tuttare means liberating from all internal dangers
4. Ture means liberating from duality
5. Soha means "Let the meaning of the mantra take root in my mind. There is no difference between this and that"
